    Pat,

I would suggest reading/proofing the questions that you’re going to answer prior to recording. This would allow everybody to get the most out of the coffee breaks (i.e. more quality questions answered)

Hey Bill, thanks for the suggestion. The reason i dont pre-screen or pre-read the questions is exclusively to KEEP IT REAL. I do understand your point and its valid. I do think however that any lack of “smoothness” is well compensated for in the candid, honest and straight foreword approach i insist on maintaining. fyi- we are considering expanding the time a bit each week to help keep up with all the awesome questions. cheers,Pat P

    Hey Pat,

You’re doing us a great free service, so do it your way, but if you like Bill Montroy’s suggestion, and it’s not a hassle to do it, I think it would be a good idea too.

Personally, I think not pre-reading and/or screening the questions helps us all get MORE out of your calls. The delivery may not be a smooth, but the information is genuine/real. That is much more important than a flawless call. You are real (great guys) and should keep it that way for your audiences.

    Love ya!

This was my first,”friday coffee break”, with you guys, and I must say that I am impressed! There was a lot of great information and some very good questions, as well. I would definitely say no to the pre-reading of the questions. It keeps it genuine and real. I will definitely tune in on Friday’s from now on!

    Pat:
Great Friday Morning Coffee break today. Good information about the proper insurance. I just spoke about this at our local REI meeting in Knoxville, TN. It is amazing how many people don’t have Umbrella insurance and it is dirt cheap.

    Thanks,
    Tom
